Harrogate & The Yorkshire Dales

Day 1:

Travel to Harrogate via Lincoln - Your journey begins with local pick-ups and a scenic coach ride north to Harrogate. Along the way, we stop in the historic city of Lincoln, where you can enjoy some free time to explore its highlights. Visit the majestic Lincoln Cathedral, wander the cobbled streets of the Bailgate, or admire the Norman architecture of Lincoln Castle. Later, we continue to Harrogate, arriving at the hotel in the late afternoon. Settle into your room, relax, and enjoy dinner as you prepare for the adventures ahead.

Day 2:

RHS Harlow Carr & Harrogate - After breakfast, we head to RHS Harlow Carr, one of the Royal Horticultural Society's celebrated gardens. Spend the morning wandering through beautifully landscaped gardens, colorful flowerbeds, tranquil water features, and peaceful woodland walks-a perfect treat for garden lovers. In the mid-afternoon, return to Harrogate and enjoy some free time to explore the town at your own pace. Stroll along the elegant streets, browse the stylish shops, or indulge in a treat at the world-famous Betty's Tea Rooms before returning to the hotel for dinner.

Day 3:

Ripon & Harrogate - Today, we visit the historic city of Ripon. Explore its charming streets, admire the magnificent Ripon Cathedral, or relax in a local café. In the afternoon, return to Harrogate for additional free time. You might stroll through the town's elegant streets, explore its shops, or enjoy the scenic Valley Gardens before gathering for dinner at the hotel.

Day 4:

Skipton & Yorkshire Dales Scenic Tour - Prepare for a full day of breathtaking scenery in the Yorkshire Dales. Our morning begins in the market town of Skipton, where you can explore its historic streets or visit the impressive Skipton Castle. From there, we journey through rolling hills and picturesque valleys, stopping for photos at the iconic Ribblehead Viaduct, an engineering marvel set against dramatic moorland. The tour continues to Wensleydale Creamery, where you'll watch a traditional cheese-making demonstration and sample some of the region's famous Wensleydale cheese. We return to Harrogate through the Dales, enjoying more of the stunning landscapes before dinner at the hotel.

Day 5:

Return Home via Wetherby - After breakfast, we begin our journey home, stopping in the historic market town of Wetherby. Take a stroll along the river, explore the charming streets, or enjoy a coffee before continuing your journey. Arrive back at your local area by late afternoon, bringing your memorable Yorkshire adventure to a close.
