Day 1

Your holiday begins with pick-ups from local departure points and a scenic drive through the North Wales countryside. On arrival at the Royal Victoria Hotel, Llanberis, simply relax before a delicious dinner in the hotel restaurant, followed by evening entertainment.

Day 2:

Ffestiniog Railway & Portmeirion Village - This morning, we travel to the harbour town of Porthmadog to board the famous Ffestiniog Railway for a memorable single journey to Blaenau Ffestiniog. This historic narrow-gauge line ascends over 700 feet through a landscape of rolling meadows, tumbling waterfalls, and graceful horseshoe bends - a true feast for the eyes.

Day 3:

Llandudno & The Great Orme Tramway - Today we make our way to the elegant seaside town of Llandudno, often called the Queen of Welsh Resorts. Enjoy time at leisure to stroll along the graceful Victorian promenade, browse the charming shops, or simply relax by the sea.
Later, we experience one of Britain's most unique journeys - a ride on the historic Great Orme Tramway. Opened in 1902, this beautifully preserved cable-hauled tramway carries us to the summit of the Great Orme, offering breathtaking views across the coast and over to Anglesey. After a delightful day by the sea, we return to Llanberis for dinner and another comfortable evening at our hotel.

Day 4:

The Welsh Highland Railway & Caernarfon - After a leisurely breakfast, we make the short journey to Beddgelert Station to board the Welsh Highland Railway for a spectacular journey through the foothills of Snowdon. Sit back and admire the dramatic mountain scenery, tranquil woodlands, and sparkling rivers as the train winds its way towards the historic royal town of Caernarfon.
On arrival, enjoy some free time to explore Caernarfon's charming streets, bustling waterfront, and magnificent Caernarfon Castle, one of Wales's most iconic landmarks. Later, we return to Llanberis for a final evening together, complete with a delicious dinner and perhaps a toast to the wonderful memories made during our Welsh adventure.

Day 5:

Homeward Bound - After breakfast, we bid a fond farewell to Llanberis and the beautiful landscapes of North Wales. With hearts full of memories and perhaps a final glimpse of Snowdon, we begin our journey home, retracing the scenic route and reflecting on the charm, history, and splendour of our Welsh railway adventure.
