Cornish Gardens & Devon Coast

Day 1

After local pick-ups we head towards Plymouth making regular stops en-route arriving late afternoon with time to relax before dinner.

Day 2

We make the drive to the worldfamous Eden Project. This unique regeneration project has transformed a scar on the landscape into a garden featuring two enormous glass Biomes.

Day 3

Today is a free day to explore Plymouth, Britain’s ocean city. Take advantage of the great shopping centres or soak up hundreds of years of history. At some point during the day, we have a delightful harbour cruise with commentary detailing the history and heritage of the stunning Plymouth coastline.

Day 4

After a leisurely breakfast we travel to the Lost Gardens of Heligan, amazingly discovered in 1991 under a blanket of brambles after 70 years of neglect. Many of the original plants have been rescued. Mid-afternoon we head to Mevagissey, one of Cornwall’s most picturesque fishing villages.

Day 5

We make our way homeward bound making regular stops arriving home late afternoon.
