Glencoe, Fort William & The Highlands

Day 1

After local pick-ups we make our way north to our overnight hotel making regular stops en route for your comfort.

Day 2

After breakfast we continue north into dramatic Glencoe where we stop at the Glencoe Visitor Centre to discover more about the landscape, history and wildlife of the area before we continue onwards to Fort William and the Alexandra Hotel and our home for the next 4-nights.

Day 3

Today we take the short trip to Glen Nevis for an effortless gondola ride up to 2150ft on the north face of Aonach Mor. Enjoy a stroll to the viewing platforms or relax in the Snowgoose restaurant before visiting the Mountain Discovery Centre. Scotland is well known for its legends, so today we have included a chance to go Nessie hunting on a Loch Ness Cruise and a visit to the Loch Ness Centre and Exhibition.

Day 4

Enjoy a day at leisure in Fort William, you could visit the West Highland Museum, famous for its Jacobite collections or visit the Ben Nevis Distillery on the outskirts of town.

Day 5

We travel to Kingussie for a visit to the Highland Wildlife Park, where a local guide will join the coach to provide information about the fascinating inhabitants including various animals native to Scotland, some of which no longer exist in the wild.

Day 6

We say farewell to Fort William, we head south to our overnight stop inthe borders area.

Day 7

After a leisurely breakfast we make our way homeward bound with comfort stops en route back to Norfolk.
