Day 1: Departing our local area we travel south via the motorway network towards our chosen resort of Torquay. Stopping en-route for your comfort & arriving at our hotel late afternoon, we arrive with time to settle in & refresh before dinner.
Day 2: Enjoy a relaxing day today in your chosen resort of Torquay. From the hotel take a stroll along the flat promenade into town or amble to the harbour. If not why not take advantage of the hotels outdoor heated pool or relax on the beach.
Day 3: Our journey today takes us onto the mysterious Dartmoor. The moor is a bleak barren wilderness with ancient markers showing the way across the moor. We stop for lunch at Princetown home to Dartmoor prison & rural life museum, after lunch we continue onto Widecombe in the moor passing some of the highest points on the moor known as tors. After free time we heed back to the hotel.
Day 4: Our journey today takes us to the quaint little fishing port of Brixham. With its replica of golden hind & narrow little streets all leading to the harbour, sit back with a drink & watch the world go by. Later we leave Brixham & make our way to Dartmouth home to the Royal Naval College on the banks of the River Dart. After free time we embark on a short included river cruise back to Dartmouth. Before joining your nostalgic steam train journey back to Paignton. Here you will re-join your holiday coach for the short journey back to our hotel.
Day 5: Today we travel to the Ancient City of Plymouth. On arrival stay on board as our local guide joins us for a panoramic tour of the City, after which some free time will be allowed for you to enjoy all the City has to offer. We depart early afternoon arriving back in time to refresh before dinner.
Day 6: Sadly, it’s time for home, stopping at regular intervals for your comfort.
