After local pick ups we travel to the Kentish Town of Tenterden. We embark here for the first of our nostalgic steam train journeys from Tenterden to Bodiam. The train travels for ten miles through the beautiful high weald countryside and arrive in Bodiam beneath the imposing walls of the national trust castle. We continue now to our chosen hotel in the vibrant City of Brighton arriving in time for you to refresh before dinner.
After a free morning to enjoy the delights of Brighton we depart for our nostalgic rail journeys on the famous Bluebell line. This was the first standard gauge rail line to be preserved and is now one of the major tourist attractions in sussex. The journey covers 11 miles and on arrival in east Grinstead you rejoin your holiday coach to commence the journey homeward, stopping en-route for your comfort & arriving in our local area early evening.
The hotel dates back over 450 years and some of the unique features from that era can still be seen today. The hotel boasts 154 beautiful en-suite rooms as well as a state of the art gymnasium and is well positioned for the Brighton Pier, Pavillion & shopping Lanes.
