Itinerary

Day 1. After local pick-ups we make our way to Cambridge for free time in this historic city. Visit Kings Gothic Chapel or sit back and relax in one of the many cafes in the area. We depart after lunch & make our way to the county of Kent & our hotel in Historic Rochester, arriving in time for you to unpack & relax before dinner.

Day 2. Today we visit the Historic Dockyard Chatham home to the television series Call the Midwife.  We will be met by a costumed Midwife on arrival who will take us on a walking tour of many of the locations used in the popular TV series. After the tour the rest of the day will be free to enjoy all the attractions in the dockyard. We depart late afternoon returning to the hotel for dinner.

Day 3. Our excursion today takes us to the stunning Leeds Castle. A castle has been on this site since 1086 & was once home of catherine of Aragon. The castle is built on islands in a Lake formed by the River Len & close to the City of Leeds & has been used in many TV & film productions including Moonraker & Dr Who.

Day 4. After breakfast we make our way homeward.

Accommodation

4* Bridgewood Manor Hotel

Location: Outskirts/Suburbs.

The single room supplement is for the use of a twin/double for sole occupancy.

The hotel does not have any bedrooms with walk in showers, other than the two disabled bedrooms.

The hotel does have over 20 ground floor bedrooms & a lift (suitable for wheelchairs), which travel to all floors.
