Festive County Durham

Day 1

After local pick-ups we make our way to the North, stopping for lunch in Richmond before heading to Durham for the next 4 nights.

Day 2

This morning we make our way to The Bowes Museum in Barnard Castle, a grand building housing an eclectic collection of antiques, curios, art and relics on 3 floors. We then give you the rest of the day to relax and explore Barnard Castle before making our way back to the hotel.

Day 3

Free day to explore Durham's historic city centre's magnificent monuments, collectively named a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Day 4

After breakfast we make our way to Beamish, the Living Museum of the North. The world-famous open-air museum tells the story of the northeast of England in the Georgian Victorian and Edwardian periods. Beamish will also be decked out from Georgian merriment to 1950s festive fun.

Day 5

Today sadly we make our way homeward stopping en route for your comfort arriving home late afternoon.
