Scarborough & North Yorkshire Coast

Day 1

We depart our local area and head towards the North Yorkshire Coast, we make a comfort stop before heading for lunch in the City of York. We then carry on to the Crown Spa Hotel and our home for the next 4 nights.

Day 2

This morning, we travel across to Pickering and the North Yorkshire Moors Railway where you board your steam train to Whitby, with its narrow streets and bustling harbour overlooked by the striking ruins of Whitby Abbey.

Day 3

Today is a free day to explore Scarborough, it really does have it all; dramatic cliffs and castle headland, awardwinning beaches, historic harbour, great family attractions and a booming town centre. In the afternoon enjoy an afternoon tea set up at the hotel.

Day 4

After a leisurely breakfast we make our way south to enjoy two more Yorkshire coastal resorts. We start in the Victorian seaside town of Filey. After lunch we head to Bridlington for the afternoon.

Day 5

We must make our way home but not without a stop in Lincoln for a bit of retail therapy. We arrive back in the local area late afternoon.
