The hotel has over 50 ground floor bedrooms and a lift (suitable for wheelchairs) which travel to all floors.
Day 1
We travel down to Kent for our 4-night stay.
Day 2
We discover the historic Cinque Port of Hythe, from its promenade to unique high street shops, before enjoying a nostalgic journey on ‘Kent’s Mainline in Miniature’, the Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway, across Romney Marsh to Dungeness, the eerie home to a host of artists and the listening walls’ built for early signs of enemy aircraft. Continue into East Sussex to the picturesque town of Rye, with its cobbled streets, historical
buildings and past links to smuggling.
Day 3
After breakfast we head to the Royal Port of Ramsgate with its grand harbour and visit the longest wartime tunnels in the UK where residents tookrefuge and lived underground just steps away from the beautiful golden beach.
Day 4
We head to the historic city of Canterbury with its atmospheric old streets, medieval walls and cathedral.
Day 5
Today we make our way home.
