We make our long-awaited return to the 4-star Hotel Olimpo. Cantabria in northern Spain offers a stunning coastline, historic villages, ports and the beautiful Picos de Europa Mountains.

Day 1

After local pick-ups we make our way to Plymouth to board the Brittany Ferries cruise service to Santander, sailing at 15:45hrs. Your evening meal on the cruise ship is included.

Day 2

Enjoy a leisurely morning on board our cruise ship with a traditional breakfast. We arrive in Santander at around 13:00hrs. Following passport control we make the journey to Isla and check in to Hotel Olimpo, your home for the next 4 nights. You will have a welcome drink on arrival and time to relax before dinner.

Day 3

Today is a day of leisure to explore the local area go to the beach or enjoy the hotels facilities.

Day 4

Today we travel to the impressive Picos de Europa Mountain range. We make our way through the River Deva Valley to Fuente De, there you have chance to enjoy a cable car trip in to the peaks for some
fantastic view across the mountains. We then retrace our steps to Potes a lovely market town, we give you free time to explore before heading back to the hotel.

Day 5

This morning, we travel to the lovely fishing town of Castro Urdiales, the town is dominated by its 13 to 15th century Gothic church of Santa Maria built in an attractive pink stone, which is one of Cantabria's finest Gothic monuments, and a lighthouse built within the shell of a Knights Templar castle. Mid-afternoon we start to make our way back to the hotel for our final night in Isla.

Day 6

After a leisurely breakfast we make our way to Santander where you have free time to explore the port city before boarding our Brittany ferry to Plymouth,
we sail at 17:00hrs. A three-course dinner is included on board.

Day 7

We enjoy a traditional breakfast this morning as we make our way back to the UK. We arrive in Plymouth at around 14:00hrs before making our way back home late evening.
